Third graders practice their math skills by ordering items off a menu.

Each group must determine the amount they would pay for the selected items.

After paying the bill, the amount of change is carefully counted back.

Greek Mythology

We have begun preparing for the highlight of the year: the Greek myth play! This week the girls have read myths about Prometheus, Hermes, and Atlas. Reading aloud D’Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths, we are introducing the girls to the gods and goddesses of Mt. Olympus. Once the girls know who’s who on Mt. Olympus and have read a number of myths, we will begin the actual process of creating our play. Stay tuned for more information.
